I want to quit for myself and for my family. I have a husband and 3 grown children ages 17, 19 and 26. The youngest graduates high school this month and will be going to college. My 19 year old just finished her 2nd year of college and my oldest son just moved to California. I have psoraris and psoratic arthritis and quitting smoking is better is for me. I smoked since i was 12 years old and now at 46 I want to feel better.
Congrats on making the decision to quit Annie! You will feel so much better for it! It's not an easy battle but it sure is a rewarding one! Do your research and decide if u are ready to go cold turkey or if you are better with patches, gum, nicorets, champix, etc. whatever u decide I wish u the very best and use this site, lots of great folks here who will cheer you on!
