Sick of the price going up every two minutes, and the constant increase on restrictions.. Being made to feel like a leper, when what I do is LEGAL

Well then Rusty, time to do something about it.

I flicked 'em July '13 after 46 years heavy smoker, and have been clean, well almost clean ever since. I still enjoy sitting with smokers, it doesn't worry me, although I had a major problem with my hands, keeping my hands active because I rolled my own for most of that time.

Mate down the track a bit, you'll realise that the voice in your head that insisted you continue to smoke was the voice of fear. I had it and as long as my 'acre' pointed to the ground. I was going to smoke, I loved it and everything about it, No one was going to convince my that smoking was bad for me..... Stone the crows!!!

So, why did I give 'em up? My Wife got the flu after being on a cruise and decided it was time to quit because the infection was chest heavy, so I decided to support her. I went through the cut down then NRT - lozenges + Chewy + spray. The wife made me look like an idiot, she went cold turkey. Neither of us smoke these days, and I've also got an extra scalp on my belt, convinced a friend, without being a nagger to give it up.

Mate give it your best shot, you ARE worth it. If you stumble, pick yourself up and go again. Always remember, YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!

Strange comment to see on this site but as Yowie has said you are worth it. I am using the money as one of my tool's for giving up after 36 years. And by the sounds of it your anger at the pricing of smokes should be a great tool to use. Stuff giving the government any more tax, we give enough out of our wages. Good luck, be strong and beat the addiction.
