financial stress

I was smoking a small pouch of tobacco with my Husband every two days. The cost was crippling us. We no longer had enough money for healthy food. I cut down from thirty five a day, to twenty five and then rang the quitline. I wanted to afford an avocardo a week and a mango in summer time. I have been cutting down for eighteen years. I was only five years old when I began to smoke. I reached fifty five a day. Some days now I only have one. I may have been cutting down for a long time, however, I average cutting down by two cigarettes a day, each year. But that is every day. I am pleased with my efforts. My children are less frightened for me. They are grown and don't smoke. My Son is totally over discussions about it. He regards talking about me cutting down as perpetuating a bad situation. My daughter kissed me recently and said "You haven't smoked". Nice observation.

thank you for sharing that story, especially the bit about your daughter.
my boys have noticed also, i dont smell!
