Quit the durries
Was supprised at how difficult it was to get the champex, was a fair bit of crap to go thru to get them. Anyway, I guess it determinds how serious I am about quitting. I have set my target, and am committed at this stage, i suppose. But, I really do feel i am ready to quit and live a more active and healthy life. I ma 38 years old, and should not feel like I feel each day.
Well you have made the first move and so all that needs now is a plan of action and then how you will cope with any minor upheavals. I suggest you keep active on here as the people who reply are the ones that will keep you to your guns. Read as many stories as you can to keep you inspired.

Go Benjamin. I too am on Champix and had my last ciggie yesterday after taking the tabs for 2 weeks. I find this website extremely helpful. I log in and out through the day and it helps keeps me positive! I'm at work and was at the lift. One of my co-workers said "off for a ciggie break". I was so proud to respond "Nuh - I don't smoke" - it was so cool!
Hi we'll done for taking the first step. I have tried to quit lots of times but have found it easier with all the support here sometimes when I crave I get on here and read everyone's stories it really encourages you to stay off. Hang in there.

Well done for taking the final step. I wont say that it is easy but well worth it when you wake up and realise that you have done it for another day. The support here is what I look for. Each story keeps me inspired to continue a positive journey.
I have got the champix tonight and going to start tommorow :) I am so happy I have finally made this step for my 2 children as there growing up and asking questions
