107Days and Operation 3days past

For those that have been with me through this process I want to say a hardy Thankyou for getting me through.
The op now 3days past ,am very sore and beaten up (face) they got the tumor, reconstructed parts and the surgeons(more then one) hands are golden.
I wouldnt have gotten through this if I was smoking. The strength and physical health are crucial for recovery.
For those that are trying to give up,keep going. Yes it is hard,Yes it is easy to put it off,Yes the excuses will keep coming,Yes you love it, YES YES YES but there is no place in my life for them anymore, and Yes it nearly cost me my life. I gave up to fight to survive.
Well done Marg on your quitting smoking. I am sure glad the op went well and that you are on the mend.
Very inspirational.

Thanks :) So pleased all the hard work and pain of giving up didn't beat me. It was a struggle of the wills mine and the cigs, glad I won. Never will I pick up another, it was too much hard work to go through it all again.
I am still popping in as it is still good to have that reminder to keep on track and also nice to see the number of days go up.

Hey Marw - also checking in for the first time in a really long time because I am so disgusted with myself. I gave up for 4 months!!!!! and I am back on the crap again. Been away so didn't know about your op or what it related to. But wish you every thing of the very best on your journey and your recovery from the op.I would have been heading for month 6. Andeverybody take a lesson. With every single smoke now into my fresh replenished lungs, it is painful. It burns your mouth, your throat and your lungs. Please all STAY quit!!!!!!!
