To quit for life
I have choosen today to quit smoking & plan to give up cold turkey using my willpower to get me through. This is about my 4th attempt at giving up. My sister passed away 4 years ago with breast cancer & I have 4 cousins who also have breast cancer so hoping I have the strenght to stay strong & quit for life. Goodluck everyone and 1 day at a time.
Good day to quit ..... you an do this , reading the posts here help alot. I wish you every success great decision. I am 9 days smoke free I am using champix which are very helpful. 4th attempt for you so you will do it this time. We a re all rooting for you...stay strong ...keep posting..
Hi Kerriecc... Reading your post was tough for me... Myself I decided to quit because of my mom fighting breast cancer too. It's been more than a year now that she's fighting it. I'm talking to u she's still at the hospital as for this 3rd surgery they had to remove the left breast completely.
I'm not saying that to shock but I can tell u that its worth quitting. My mom has never touched a cigarette and she was always after me and my sister and brother asking us to quit. This time I made it for me and for her too. Watching her on her bed, suffering, was the signal for me. Enough hurting myself. Time to wake up and stop this sh...
I'm in my 8th day smoke free and so proud. I'm using champix too and reading this support site often. These are the tools I've chosen and it works perfectly!!
