DAY 1:

Ok, so today is my first day of not smoking and surprisingly going well... i mean its only the first day but i havent had a craving, im not on medication and going cold turkey.

something clicked in my head this morning when i woke up and usually go to make a coffee and have a smoke... i had no smokes left, my throat was sore, i felt really tired and then i figured - you know what? i dont want to smoke, it makes me feel like crap in the morning, i feel ugly and cant stand coughing in the morning... its not pretty.

i have quit a couple of other times, with the help of NRT and with medication subscribed by my GP and they both contributed to helping me quit for 3 - 6 months at different times, but i tend to give in as soon as something becomes too stressful and the thoughts "Whatever, who cares" comes into my head im straight to the shop.... i need to stop this.

im looking for the benefits of feeling better, looking healthy, getting back into the gym and the saving of money. i dont enjoy smoking anymore, so enough is enough.

Wish me Luck!
