...I am 42 days today of no smoking...have saved heaps of money, but more importantly, I feel better, have more energy and my mood has seldom been better...I used champix as well, but I stopped taking the evening tablet so I could get to sleep easier -- it has lessened my insomnia to a large degree and I seem to be doing just fine on just the one tablet a day...my kids have kids, but they are non smokers now too...unfortunately I was not a great role model as I smoked a lot when they were still at home...now my grand kids have a smoke free parents and grandpa too...unfortunately my kids and grandchildren live in USA, but we are in daily contact via the net through email, skype video phone calls and social networks...hang in there..if I can do it, so can you...I saw a quote in facebook this evening that struck me as very true...

"I believe in this world; it is the place that I have been born into. I love the breeze and the grass, the sky and the water. I have an intimate exchange with nature - like a lover. I feel held and nourished by it. I believe in people; they are the species to which I belong. I recognize that, underneath our superficial differences, we all want and need the same things. I believe that truth and goodness will prevail. I have experienced and seen more healing than I thought would ever happen. I feel good with small gains. I see deep meaning in quiet things, and I am moved by a power that I cannot explain but that I sense inside and out. Today, I feel good."

...the world is a much better smoke when you see and feel and smell and taste the autumn air and breeze and the smell of rain in the air without the smell of tobacco and the haze of the smoke...
