2nd time lucky??

Ok so here we go again....this will be both mine and my husbands 2nd attempt at giving up smoking...and it will be Monday 25th..

We gave up in November last year...the 11th to be exact....cold turkey....but we did it on the night my husband started three 12 hour nightshifts...I was doing great, bouncing off the walls in fact, didnt understand why it had taken so long...17 years...to give them up, we had both given up smoking pot 4 years earlier cold turkey so this shouldn't be so hard...right? Wrong.. my poor husband was very sick..while i was still bouncing off the walls :p

we managed to make it to December 31st...NYE...a couple of smokes wouldnt hurt...then we made it through to February...moved house...was stressed and started again...

We decided that this has to stop, so the first day of his 4 days off (yep we learnt from last time) we are going again..Our girls deserve better...especially seeing as the first time we quit (and we were inside smokers) our youngest daughter stopped coughing so much through the night....I didnt realise that even though we made sure we smoked away from our girls, the fact that it lingered in the air so much was harming them :-(
