why I chose to quit.

I have 4 children aged 13 to 3. I started smoking at the age of 10. I am now nearly 40. I count myself lucky that I am still here to see my kids grow up. I thought the best way to get accepted at school was to smoke and act tough. Haven't seen those people since I left school. Now the only people I want to impress are my beautiful children. Tomorrow is Quit day for me. Already feeling anxious, but know I can do it.

Hey, how did you go with your quit day?? Totally understand about been accepted at school and smoking. As far as I know that I am the only dummy that stayed smoking out of all my group! Sad hey!! Good luck with it all!

Hi, gotta agree, only started smoking through peer pressure and am the only on that continued to smoke. I smoked for 32 years or so and have been a non-smoker for 41 days. Neither of my children (a daughter 28 and a son 25) have ever smoked so I have been very lucky. My daughter is expecting my first grandchild and my greatest wish is to be here to see him/her grow up!!
