lung cancer scare

Last week I had a lung cancer scare that was devastating. Finally on Friday I found out I don't have lung cancer. I thought I would have to wake up every morning knowing I have cancer and not see my 8 year-old son growing up. Even though the experience was terrible, it made me decide to quit immediately. Today is my 3rd day - I've never gone that long without smoking since I was about 15. I am using patches and inhalers and am finding it very easy because I had decided never to smoke again like my brother-in-law advised - he said, like anything in life, you won't do it unless you really want to. After last week and contemplating an early death I decided I want this more than anything.
