Sieze the day!

Hello! I am on day two of my quit journey. I am 35 and have smoked for 20 years. I have decided to quit because I want to lead a happy, healthy, beautiful life. I just had a conversation with a collegue who told me she gave up five years ago but her best friend did not and at age 45 suffered a massive stroke that has left her in a wheelchair, only able to say yes & no. It almost made me cry thinking of the burden I would leave my sisters with if I continued smoking and suffered some tragic event as a result. I am going to stay strong and fight this addiction. I will be here looking for support so hello everyone!! :)

Hi Lekkas, all the best with your quit journey - I'm currently in the middle of a craving, so know that you've got my support! Best thing about this site is that we are all going through the same thing - and will get through it together!
Stay strong - Violet
