Scared

I have been smoking for 25 years, I wwatched my Mum die a very slow and painful death from emphysema at 67 and my Father died at 52 from a massive heart attack.
I have 2 sons and are aged 4 and 5, I try to play with them but I have to use my ventolin spray as I get to puffed. I sat back the other day and thought to myself that I am getting more and more like my Mother.
I have to be there to watch my boys grow up. My Husband is very supportive although he doesnt understand how hard this addiction is to beat. I have given up a few times before and felt great, but I am more than determined to do it for good this time.

Hang in there, Karen! Drink plenty of water and eat healthy nibblies like sultanas, muesli & yoghurt. You can get through it!
