Getting back on track

In August2009 i got sick. Bronchitis, Pneumonia and then Pleurisy i couldnt breathe and was unable to smoke so i quit smoking. I stayed quit for 9 months. There were some bad days in the beginning but i found it relatively easy. I started exercising to keep the extra kilos away and went very well until a death in the family had me reaching for a cigarette. Since then i cant seem to stay quit. I last a few days or a few weks and then slip up again. The coughing is back and i am having breathing problems again.I have to go overseas in April for my sons wedding and the doctor wont sign off on he trip until i quit again, so Monday is my quit day. From that day forward smoking is not an option.

Last time I started smoking again after 3 mths was when my Mum was intensive care. How to cope with intense stress without smoking? Very challenging.
At 2 weeks quit I am finding it challenging dealing with daily work pressures. I think I am missing the regular 5 minute 'timeout'. So I am taking quick walks around the block.
Good luck!
