i slipped

this week has been really hard to stay clean i did slip and i probally end up slipping again. my really close friend is near the end and ive been going to the hospital to sit by her bed and hold her hand. ive been there 3 days this week i was even there most of the day on my birthday, we actually thought she was going to go on birthday. which is 13th of august. i needed to vape to relieve my feelings i so badly wanted to buy one but instead our friends and her family let me use theirs. shes still here at the moment and i will be seeing her again today

Hi @Maxi1310 - that sounds incredibly hard. I'm sorry for you and your friend. Please be kind to yourself right now. A slip during a time like this doesn’t erase all the effort you’ve put in. It sounds like being there for your friend and looking after yourself as best you can is enough.
