59 Days Smoke Free

Posted in Quit experiences
event_available 105 days smoke free

When I first posted here I was 206 days smoke free because of being incarcerated. That 206 days turned into a year. Then I relapsed and started smoking & vaping again. Now I'm once again unable to access cigarettes (institionalised) but I'm using NRT lozenges 4mg.

I still feel like smoking. Cold turkey worked for me better. I'm so stressed out, but yeah pretty much this is my second round of attempting to quit the habit. 59 days is good I guess.

Hi @exsmoker26 and welcome - that sounds like a really tough spot to be in.
Fifty‑nine days is more than good it’s really solid progress, especially with everything going on. Having urges can feel frustrating but it doesn’t mean it isn’t working.
You’ve also learned something important about what’s worked for you before. Even if this attempt feels different, you’re still moving forward, not starting from scratch.
