Breathing easier

This morning my 3km run was so much stronger and easier, I can feel the difference in my breathing. My VO2 has already gone up 1 point. My sleeping has been a lot better and I've actually lost some weight! Maybe between the better sleeping and stronger running my metabolism is working better? I did have a couple of moments where I thought about smoking, just absentmindedly, like when I made my coffee. So the habit is still there and I need to stay positive and vigilant. I think the first three days the excitement and novelty of quitting kept my mind of it. But I distracted myself by thinking of the benefits, some of which are are quite obvious already. I'm looking forward to seeing all the future benefits too. So happy I made the decision to quit.
