Just Past 9 Years Quit!

I'm now at 3,304 days quit. My 9th year anniversary was Jan. 29th 2026.
I can honestly say that I no longer have any craving to smoke and rarely think about it other than when I come on a Quit Smoking site like this one. My only purpose in posting this is to encourage others following in the same foot steps I took just over 9 years ago to carry on thorugh all the horribly tough moments we ALL go through as part of our early quits. We are all the same and must find our own way through to freedom but hanging with other quitters does help!
The little bit of time that you spend facing significant challenges is really miniscule compared to the life long freedom from the clutches of nicotine addiction you'll enjoy once you're over the hump of quitting..
Save your health; save your money and tough it out as you change your life for the better! Trust me, it's well worth it👍

Massive congrats on 9 years @Reci 👏
I love seeing these posts. They're so encouraging especially for people in their early days. Please consider sticking around the next few months as we have a challenge for the Big Quit coming up and are reaching out to members new and old to join. Having long‑term quitters like you around makes a real difference to the community.
Thanks again for sharing and for giving others hope! 👍
