Part 1 Quit

Hey folks. I quit on 29th Jun24 after being diagnosed with high blood pressure. You'll be happy to know since quitting my blood pressure has reduced significantly. The doctor was very good with supplying some NRT (patches on the day I attended the 1st appt on 28th June) and then some lozenges on the 2nd appt on the 15th July 2024. Firstly I was not a heavy smoker, I decided some years ago to just smoke after work. When the law changed here in Northern Ireland in 2007, you could not longer smoke in your place of employment, secretly i was pleased. Generally I never smoked in my home as I was always respectful to not incur passive smoking so it really wasnt hard to stop smoking at work...at the time when we were allowed, we were only allowed to smoke in the kitchen. Im also glad that the law changed in Oct2015 to prohibit smoking in cars as children really didnt have a voice when adults selfishly smoked in their vehicles.
