Quitting for life

At the age of 14, I began smoking, initially blending tobacco with weed. I managed to quit weed twenty years ago, but cigarettes proved more challenging to let go of. In October, at 43, I received a diagnosis of COPD asthma. The doctors warned that if I didn't quit, I might not reach 50. I quit immediately, which went really well. However, my wife continued smoking, which I found difficult. After six months, I succumbed and had a cigarette from her, leading me to start smoking again. It's been a month since then, and two weeks ago, I quit again. This time around, the cravings are much stronger, likely because I've come to realize that I can never take another puff.

That “ EVER “ in NOPE scared me at first too then I thought but that’s exactly what I want. To be done with this forever . No more smoking and no more yo yo quitting . Completely done so I could actually really LIVE life the way it was meant to be lived . You could change out NOPE for “NOPT “ instead ( not one puff today ) maybe it will bring you less anxiety . You can do one day right , tomorrow isn’t here yet . It could be easier . The beginning just sucks , it just does . The way through may be hard but good things happen with hard work .
