I have been using patches now for two weeks and today am 14 days or two weeks without smoking a cigarette, I uses to smoke roll your own, and now the cigarette stains have disappeared from my fingers, If it wasn't for osteoarthritis in my right hip I would be feeling on top of the world.

Well done Jatchat on making the decision to say no more smokes. It is great that you are seeing benefits of not smoking. You are doing so well. Just keep focussed and have a plan for when cravings may pop up. Good luck!

schedule 15 Mar 2024

It is so wonderful to see you doing well and so pleased as punch with yourself. Keep up the positive thinking Jatchat and perhaps that hip might even feel a little better in time as well. There are still other rewards to enjoy shortly as well, like smelling and tasting.

We have seen the light. Enjoy life to the fullest and smell the coffee!

Hello Jatchat, wow, good on you ! can I ask if you used the lozenges too? I’ve been on the patches for about a week and just started the lozenges today as well. I realise a lot of people just quit immediately and use the patches and or gum etc. as a back-up. I found this difficult, so advised to do the “cutting down method” instead. As I wrote in another post just now I couldn’t find where to reply to a specific person’s post so not sure who this is going to? Doesn’t matter as long as I keep going with the help from others who have contacted me very kindly. Thanks and keep up the great work.
