Correctional Facility

Posted in Quit experiences
schedule 30 Nov 2023

I’m 26 years old and been smoking the last 10 years. I’m now 206 days smoke-free because of incarceration. Although I didn’t quit due to personal choice I’m going to take advantage of this situation and stay a non-smoker. Hoping my reenter into society remains as stress free as possible so I don’t pick up another smoke again.

schedule 3 Dec 2023

A terrible way to be forced to quit, but you will ultimately be glad that you did. Remember that smoking does absolutely nothing for you except to administer a dosage of nicotine to which your body is addicted to. We then addict our minds to thinking that we need it and enjoy smoking, but we only really enjoy dodging the cravings by feeding them before they were upon us. We smoked as a precursor to doing something and as a reward for finishing something. We smoked in celebration as well as stress.at all. Smoking only CAUSES unnecessary stress with the cost and deteriorating of health.

schedule 3 Dec 2023

So love the fact that you are a non-smoker. That you chose to change your life for the better and that you have succeeded in doing what many still fear that they cannot.

Change the way you have seen smoking in the past and keep thinking positive! All the best to you.

schedule 7 Dec 2023

All the very best with all of that.

Fond regards
