just do it

after donating my last pack to my neighbor over 4 years ago, I stuck to my guns and I retrieved my money by not buying another pack. I lost $38 and look how much I won from it. Brothers and sisters after 50 years of this horrid habit it finally came to an end in 2018 and I can take big breaths and no more dry reaching, bad breath, smelly clothes etc etc etc. After 6 months of giving up I took a cigarette and had a puff and it felt like someone put a blowtorch on my chest and I felt the burn went right through me. That is when I realized I was cured, and never looked back again. After a couple of weeks your brain will get use to you giving up and will start to leave you alone. Go ahead just do it please and I promise you will never regret it. Don't use any excuse by not stopping and take control of your health.

Hi "Just do it" Yes I smoked for 50yrs too up to 2016.
After experiencing short painful breathing on a walk one day I had to stop. At the time I was 68yrs old. Doctor said QUIT smoking or end up with bad emphysema. I stopped smoking 7yrs ago now and after all the discomforts and frustrations I went through for the first 6mths stopping smoking really paid off. I am now nearly 75yrs old and feel and breathe a lot better and do not stop on walks. I can only stress to all the newbies STOP smoking now, endure the pain as in the long run it WILL be much worth it. Also the money you save will be unbelievable and you can enjoy it on your fancies. Good luck and thanks for listening. Cheers

That's amazing! I'm 62 and have been smoking for at least 40 yrs. Today is day 48 since I quit, and it's inspiring stories like yours that keep me strong!!

It's nice to see you back again and encouraging others Michael. I was also a heavy smoker for over 40 years and quit cold turkey. I had the onset of COPD, but have no more breathing difficulties since quitting smoking. It is truly amazing just how much better we can feel physically. If only we could retrain our brains and make quitting smoking easier. Actually, I did quit smoking much easier than most, but I am not an exception. My hubby and my daughter also quit with ease. If you think it is hard, it will be.
Whatever hardships in the early stages are rewarded tenfold down the road. I hope our stories can spur others onto their own success.
