Again

One hour at a time. Weaned myself down to one a day due to brain fog… then quit cold turkey. Day 5

You have great willpower to have weaned down to one a day, and I know that I could not do it. I smoked over a pack a day and got down to 4 and 5 then 2 or three a day and figured that it would be a whole lot easier to just jump. While I weaned, I was also learning , while many just count the seconds until they can have that smoke. I could taste the poison in each one, and I smoked alone and bored, realizing just how much time it had taken out of my life, the expense and the idiotsy of the act. I looked forward to change rather than fearing it.
We all quit smoking differently and have different experiences. I wish everyone well in their endeavors and continued success.
We can quit smoking when we realize that we can.
