Use any method ..Just try Quit

Been using nicotine patches and munching on gums from last week. Gradually decreasing the numbers of cigarettes each day has been really helpful for me to deal with withdrawal symptoms until yesterday. Gave a try to Nicorette quick mist, little harsh on throat but it worked well during strong urges and cravings.
Didn't smoke any today and will be doing same for tomorrow and coming days.

Hello Bibek007,... It's my opinion to do whatever you need to not light up. Stay cigarette free. Take it one day at a time, like you are doing. Sometimes it needs to be one hour at a time, but you will get through the day and then it's time to sleep and wake up with another day under your belt. Some people have it easy and I am not one of them, but I can say, it IS getting EASIER. Work your way through this. You can do it. You came to the right community. I would suggest read, read and read some more. These posts are filled with information. Stories that will match your story. You are not alone. Congratulations for making it through today and it really does help that you have a positive attitude. You can quit smoking cigarettes, just like all these other people. If they can do it, it means that it is doable. Keep your eyes on the prize!!! Hang in with us and let us know how you are doing.

Thinking positive and pushing through will get easier every day. Rough spots may occur but then you take satisfaction that you persevered. We are stronger than nicotine and we do adjust to change.
