Tired.

Hey there 😊 If it’s any consolation I slept a lot in the first few weeks and also felt very unmotivated so I know what you mean. It does get better though, much. Perseverance is key and determination and will power- you can do this.

Further, try to do something you really enjoy to celebrate the time you’ve done so far. Give yourself a reward that doesn’t involve nicotine

Thank you. This support system is actually surprisingly helping.
I admire the people who reach out to me that don’t really have too. :)

Cuba is right. Helping others makes us feel good. Treating yourself feels good.. Thinking about good things even make us smile and feel good.
It follows that positive thoughts make us feel better than negative ones.
Think HAPPY, Do HAPPY, Be Happy.

Don't beat up on yourself for feeling tired or irritable. it comes with the territory. Also chills, memory problems, upset stomach etc. You've been smoking for a long long time, and your body has been ingesting all those chemicals for a lot of years. Take a deep breath with each craving and visualize that nice clean air cleaning out your body from the residuals of nicotine and tar. You are literally getting healthier with each breath. Keep it up. Those cravings don't last more than 15 or 20 seconds. Get up go outside, take a walk around the block, around the yard. You will overcome.
