Reading previous posts for strength and support. Stopped counting my quit attempts but feel exhausted from the endless battle and need to make this time count. Coping well today, cold turkey, and certainly feel ready to be an ex-smoker. Hope to stay strong 💪

Yes good approach, everybody has many fails attempts, it's past which you cannot change, so forgive to yourself and go ahead.. this attempt can be the one with mark "final", you just need to beat cravings from beginning of the way.. what helped me was to say "yes craving, I know I can have one, but the thing is, I DO NOT WANT TO" and let the craving left.. you can quit, and you will.. :)

Cravings are but mere thoughts. Ignore them and find something else that requires your attention. I think of a craving as a reminder that we are starving out the nicomonster.......and we are WINNING!

We only thought that we enjoyed smoking because we didn't have to face the cravings .We are stronger than nicotine and CAN win. IIt is really wonderful to be free of its timetable. Rewarded well and no regrets.

Every past quit you learned about yourself. Find the confidence within you to take back control.

I agree 100% with Red-67. It is all in the attitude.

Everyone has the first day blues, if i can call it that. I had my shares of first days. but finally i can proudly say after so many first days, the last first days resulted in 3 months of NOPE. Stay strong you can do it, its all in the mind.
