It’s been over 24 hours since I’ve quit cold turkey. But of a struggle and I don’t know how long it will last. Used to smoke 10 a day, let’s hope this lasts.

Whether it lasts is up to you.

You have to want to quit to maintain the quit. Anyone can who truly wants change. We find ways to do what we want to and excuses to do what we do not want to do. That's life! No pain no gain as they say.......still quitting can be easy with the right attitude. Take pride in every step closer to accomplishing your goal, just as any other challenge in life.

So true, words of wisdom! Thank you! You’re right it’s just like any challenge in life but I’m not quite through it yet! I haven’t given in but I’m still not quite out of the woods yet.

Welcome Charlie, it will last as long as you want it to. For some it is a struggle, for others, it was easy. I learned along the way to say quietly or loudly or even writing it down. (each and every day), was the NOPE mantra (not one puff ever) this took me to a long term approach, which made it so much easier as I continued. Congratulations.
