Sometimes I just need to remind myself that cravings pass

Today is day 8 cold turkey. Mostly I am adjusting very well to being a non smoker. Now and again I will have a strong craving however it usually passes quickly. When I am experiencing a strong craving I remind myself that mostly I don't think that much about smoking and when I do it passes very quickly 😊

It is good that you have simply made up your mind Jessfreeof and do not waste time and energy on debating with mere thoughts. After all, cravings, are just thoughts. A reminder than you are in control and the beast is starving. It no longer can tell you to drop everything and do it's bidding. You are winning. Just remember than just one puff can send you back to Day 1 or to being a lifetime smoker.

You're dong great. Keep up the positive thoughts and the desire to be a happy non-smoker. You CAN do it!

Its really good to know that you documenting your day to day experience. I am sure a lot of people are going to be inspired. keep up the good work. You are helping not only yourself but others as well.
