After a few attempts at quitting, I’ve read Allan Carr’s book (for the third time over a number of years) and today is my quit day. I hope I can do it this time.

I heard about this book is it really good?

Don;t skim, but read every word he rights. He conveys the mindset that makes quitting not only doable, but sustainable. Quitting can even be easy once you are open to the idea. Embrace the quit, as it is a wonderful change in so many wonderful ways. I have yet to have anyone wish they hadn't quit once they had. I wonder why that is?

Yes Mia it’s a great book! Really opens up your mindset and I’d highly recommend :) it’s helped me quit before for a year but silly me, picked up the habit again.

Thanks Happiness for your comment and agreed! You have to embrace the quit.

I also had a few attempts at quitting, the book by Alan Car was helpful, but I must confess, the video "How to grow to be a happy non-smoker" by NASIA DAVOS on u-tube was the catalyst in helping me to embrace the quit, something will present itself to you if you are honest, and you will know you have to work on 'this something' in order to achieve the happiness that you deserve. .....TEDxUniversityofPiraeus
