Hi everyone how is everyone's smoking journey going?

As you can see from my past posts I had quit for a few months and started again to smoke.

Very silly mistake but don't beat myself up for it

Every quit is closer to the final quit.

I have still have the struggle with it. As of now I have no more ciggerates and all I do now Is not to buy another packet. Move on and don't dwell on the horrible smelly habbit. I used to wake up and the 1st thing I thought of was a smoke. Recently I habe been waking up and can leave it it doesn't bother me and I think I am ready to do this I am not dependent on it anymore.

My partner and I have holidays booked for August and I have bought a tin and for every packet I would have bought will now go in the holiday tin. It's a circle for life unless you break it.. hope you are all doing well I love to read all the stories of everyone it's great motivation. 💪💪

Good for you Gemma. The act of putting that money into a "dream" and saving it from ash is positive reinforcement. You are not only saving for your trip , but making a conscious choice and taking satisfaction in it as you see it build up. I hope you "treat" yourself with little things along the way too. I never did......I was so pleased with myself that the new way of life held enough rewards in itself. Hubby was so proud that I took the lead and He, I and my daughter are all now smoke free for over 2 years. What more could I ask for? Life is GREAT as a non-smoker!
