Panic attacks

I quit 40 days ago I am 30 years old. I have always delt with pretty bad anxiety but since quitting I have had panic attacks rapid heart beat and anxiety seems worse now. Has anyone else experienced this?

I experienced no hardships in quitting smoking.
Preparing myself to quit and cutting down was the hard part. I WANTED to quit, so i had no Psychological issues stalking me. Read our stories and learn about nicotine addiction and the mindset needed to put that NEED to smoke out of your head.
Change your mind Change your life.

I also wanted to quit and it was not hard for me I dont even think about smoking anymore. I have zero desire to want to smoke.

I am in the same boat as you. I have had my struggles with anxiety before I quit and now that i have quit for about a month it has improved but I still have issues. Part of the reason I quit was to improve my anxiety issues and panic attacks and it has gotten better in some aspects but I still have some strange aches and pains, cough up some strange stuff, and sleep quit a bit. But some days are so much better it is all woth it. I can smell things I haven't smelled in years and I have so much more time now that I am not worried about sneaking off or planning around a smoke break!

I suggest you to start reading the book "Easy way to stop smoking" by Allen Car. It will definitely help you. You will not feel any cravings or anxiety if you read this book.
