Day 2 - Thanks for being there......
Its funny but had never really thought being part of a group like this would be for me. However reading over the community stories I have been truly inspired by how open you share, how much of yourselves you invest in it.
I am a newbie so cant ofer any great insights or tips, am still humbled to be at the start of the journey.
But one thing I do know from a personal perspective, is that writing this journal log is therapeutic, particularly when it is shared with a community, keeps you honest!
I have been hiding my smoking for some time now so my journey to liberation is very much a private one, its not one I can share even with those closest to me, so sharing with you guys is a gift, thanks very much
This is just day 2, but also its DAY 2. The first hurdle passed and know now I can do a full 24 hours without the smokes, so why not the next. Have to admit I feel that physical nagging, the craving for a smoke, but its early here and if I can get to 11am , then the day is mine!

You never thought you would be one to join a forum. You never thought you could quit smoking. You have and you will! Change your way of thinking and anything is possible. Every quit may be different, that;'s because all of us are different, but with one thing in common.......we WANT to quit smoking.
First find that WANT, and then BELIEVE. You can quit smoking. It can even be EASY!

Awesome job! Just keep pushing it does slowly get easier with time, I’m 66 days now but I also take champix as cold turkey was to hard and I have been through some stressful times and still haven’t resorted to smoking, yeah I’ve had my up and down moods but I keep pushing myself and half the time I’m not even thinking about it, I have 3 more months left of champix and I’m going to keep pushing! But you can can do this!
