Still symptoms
I have smoked for 4/5 years having around 6/10 a dsy snd in November I had quit and I went through a week of not even being able to pass gas’s without straining, ever since even to now I’m having stomach issues like belly aches constantly and I’d say my digestive system isn’t how it was either is this still normal this late after stopping
harvey I am with you. I am 3 weeks in to a clean quit and i have terrible issues with my health. pain in stomach, back, muscle spasms, nausea after eating and at night, waking to pain, insomnia. I smoked for 20 years and i guess this is what happens when it completely leaves you. I NEVER had such pain as a smoker, only as i quit did all of this come on. I have had a lot of doctor visits to nothing, thank god, some more blood tests came back clean etc.
I read it can be 2 months before we even start to feel a bit better, i wont smoke again but jeeze louise this hurts! NOPE not one puff ever after this sh!!
do you have issues with constipation nation?
Hiya David, mine literally started about 4/5 days after I stopped and bowel movements still haven’t gone to how they was they’re better but not how they was, all my other symptoms have gone away it’s just literally these pains in my stomach that are their as soon as I wake up and then are bad when I’m going to sleep, my digestion hasn’t been the same either my friends went back to normal within a month so I hope the same for you but for me it’s lasting abit longer, I wish their was a way we could have a proper detailed chat about this for example where you pain is and things.

Are you getting enough fiber in your diet? Then again did you add it too fast. If you are not used to it that will cause constipation, gas and pain. Drink prune juice and exercise to get things moving. Eat pre and pro biotics for good gut health and digestion. Help yourself by giving your body what it needs.
It is possible to write an email address in code to pass authorities. I have. I have made contact with a couple of people here. When we WANT to do something, we find a way!
I just carried on with my diet how it was before I stopped, I just had to rewrite a storey because I thought maybe this late by is getting abit worrying and maybe it’s something else but I’ve seen a few still with this issue with 80 ish days by so hopefully it’ll pass soon and maybe me and David can have a chat somehow in more detail as we are basically in the same boat

You could click on Davids name on the above post and it will take you to his stories. You might contact him in more privacy there, but it is still public.....I suggest his first story where few will return to. I hope you resolve your issues soon.
Hi David, I’m still having the stomach cramps and pains, are you? If so is it in one set side or where is the discomfort snd pain in your stomach
Hiya David I have also seen that you said your having ‘colon pain’ is their anyway you can go into detail about this like a specific side it’s going and so on, this will just help my worry
hi harvey, i have lower right pain in my intestines, i had a colonoscopy which was clean thank god. if honest, the pain i get is everywhere these days, now it is leg cramps and muscle pain, but i smoked 20 years and quit cold turkey so i think it is part of the journey, blood tests have been clean so far and urine test and stomach scan so i think it will pass. it takes months for some people they say - how are you doing?
Oh mine is lower left pain just inside my hip, I had quite a lot of muscle spasms and still do but they’ve calmed down now I just hope it is the withdrawal
