What I got from being smoke free for 95 days.

It's amazing how quitting one habit will change many more things in your life. After quitting for 95 days I have realised how much more time I have to do things that I love to do. I go for long walks, do meditation by the beautiful lake near my house, spend 8 hrs at work without going out of office every hour for a smoke break, spend my evenings playing sports and indoor games, have healthy food, work on my weight loss plans, sleep well and read books. I have regained my confidence. I am working towards having a minimalistic and satisfied life. Smoking is the worst thing that can happen to someone. I wish I had not started inthe first place nevertheless never again am I going to take in a single puff.

You found a lot of things that I also found. Time, energy, money spent on better food choices, hence better health. A caring about ourselves to enable us to help others. Hubby had also quit along side of me, and now because of me , eats better and wants his former physic back.....weight lifting! I am also losing weight with the self confidence that it is possible and am down to normal BMI. I now have the energy to exercise and do above my goal.
Smoking really has robbed us of more than we realized Until we are free, we have blinded ourselves as to what we were missing out on. It's not too late to choose the freedom and take back the control. We can quit smoking!
With grocery prices going up here in Canada , and there as well in Australia , i would think, we have no right to complain. We wasted our money on something we knew was no good for us.......and we who have quit are well ahead of the increases to come. :)

Truly inspirational story, I like that you so enjoy your freedom.. Fresh and great news from you.. Keep going..

That is so great Partha, thanks for posting, we are way ahead on many events now that we are smoke-free we also have the money to spend on presents for our loved ones and enjoying all of our new found freedoms. Have a wonderful smoke free Christmas and New Year.
