Almost 9 months smoke free
Hi all I haven't been on for a while, however I am smoke free. Withdrawal symptoms had abated for a while there. But I over the past few days my throat has been very irritable and the feeling that I have something stuck in it has came back. Has anyone else had this? According to a quit app I have the Cilia are almost recovered so I'm thinking it could be that and that they are really starting to clear out my lungs and throat? I still spit up white phlegm with black specks every few days.. I could never go back to smoking now. Its worth the mental torture. It does get easier.

HI again Partickprincess, you can post on this site as much as you want to. In answer to your question I personally have not had this trouble, and to be honest after this length of time I wouldn't put it down to smoking withdrawals of any kind.
Make sure you are seeing your doctor preferably with a list of details ...time/date etc, this will give you a better chance of finding out more. The main thing is not to smoke ever NOPE (not one puff ever) which you seem to be doing, try not to experiment with any more puffs this will only exascerbate your health conditions. Have a peaceful and happy Christmas and New Year and come back again.

Hi, this will be my 8th month smoke free. I have the same problems. I dont cough, or have any other problems other than feeling something stuck. Nothing serious, I think its just the way our body is healing off. In my case, I smoked 2 boxes a day for at least 3 years, and almost 20 years in total smoking. Dont expect to get off easy in just 8 or 9 months. Your body was trashed to a pulp, and a few months will help, but will not heal. Im confident if we keep at it, it will just pass.
Just little over 3 years ago I was introduced to Herbal HealthPoint and their successful COPD Herbal treatment, i immediately started on the treatment for my 6 years long Emphysema condition. The herbal treatment is incredible, my severe shortness of breath and chest tightness disappeared within the first 2 months on the treatment.
