196th day of being smoke free

Im happy that i was able reach up until today as smoke free. No more cravings , but panic attacks are terrible. I feel so down sometimes. I just dont want to move . My breathing sometimes stable , sometimes not. Palpitations getting day by day. I can stay awake for 24 hours, im becoming insomiac. At this very moment , while writing this , im trembling and scared for no reason. I am being crazy?

No you are not crazy. The nicotine is a drug that pushes some of our buttons....so to speak. You miss the jolt of dopamine , a happy chemical. Our bodies make it too.....do things that make you happy..chocolate, the smell of lavender and good feelings also set it off.
Try meditation and breathing excercises to calm the body and to sleep. Google these things and try them to see if they help. It will all pass in time when your body and mind adjust. Embrace this quit in the spirit of goodness not fear. You will love the end result. It is all worth it!
Keep up the good work Esarzeevee.

Good advice from Happiness Esarzeevee, 197 days is no mean feat, well done to you, I am glad you made it to this stage. Your feelings might not be related to not smoking, because 197 days is quite a long time to have these feelings.
Check in with your doctor to make sure everything else is ok. We are all feeling depressed now and again with the Covid19 situation, this might explain your feelings. In the meantime work on a list of things that have made you happy during your day even if it is one thing, believe me your list will grow, it is a good habit to get into rather than dwelling on negatives. NOPE (not one puff ever)

I have been 17 days smoke free and I'm craving but trying to keep them healthy with fruit and snack bars instead of chips and chocolates.
