GIVING IT A COMMITMENT

Hi everyone my name is David and i now turned 46 started smoking at around 16,
I’ve lost count on the number of times I ve tried to quit and set a quit date and saying this is my LAST PACKET OF CIGARETTES 🚬
BUT this time different because I have realised that in past I have not really pushed myself given in to habit of smoking and not making a commitment as when I commit to a task I’ll do whatever I need to do to achieve it,
My advice is to only quit smoking when you are OUT OF LOVE WITH cigarettes,
My best not smoking time is only less than 48 hours and advise anyone has to break my 48 hr wall moment would be gladly appreciate
Thanks everyone for choosing to be smoke free

Gday David - well done mate for stepping up to do this! We're all on the some journey together, you're not alone.. keep posting. I'm on day 14 and hanging in there, but just trying to get my sleep patterns back to normal...
Nicotine withdrawal peeks around 2-3 days - so this is exactly why you hit that wall. You've gotta find a way to be busy 24/7... Anything and everything thats positive for your body/mind including sleep! do exercise, watch tv marathons, cat videos you name it... this weekend focus on all the sports on TV and for now just get through the weekend.
You can also set up a quit smoking counter with one of the many apps out there...
Any time you struggle, just post right here! someone will reply :)

Hi David there are posts on your first message even though it’s saying there isnt

Ah! David, just the right mindset to have another go. Out of love for sure, I just need to let you know Nicotine doesn't give up on you so easy, it wants you back time after time. You are way ahead for the last time around. NOPE (not one puff ever) is the Mantra a lot of us use, it worked for me after a few attempts. Lots of deep breaths, lots of research, and lots of reading others who are going through the same thing, we are all with you this last time.
