Bad chest

Good morning Everyone,I’ve been stopped smoking 2 months and my breathing and health has felt great, thismorning tho I’ve woke up weary and coughing,is it too late for it to be stopping smoking causing it do you think..if not I’m coming down with something
Thanks for reading😀👍

Hi new chapter. Many people have experienced a time of coughing a few weeks after quitting smoking. I guess the cilia get stronger and are more adept at sweeping the lungs clean, thereby causing you to cough. It is a time of healing. It is also a time of pandemic, so take precautions as to not spread anything should it be communicable. Of course see a doctor if it is concerning to you. Feel better soon!

Thanks for the messages everyone,I’ve rang 111 and been assessed on the phone, they’ve said I need to speak to a doctor,I’ve got one ringing me this afternoon,I think it’s my body clearing the crap out,but it’s best to be safe.
Thanks Again😀💪

Well I ended up in hospital for the night,my breathing worsened and I was in pain in my chest, they ran some tests and it’s a gastric problem so not as bad as I thought,I’ve been told not to run for a while until they’re 100%what the problem is,but glass half full, and onwards and foreward we go
Have a great day 😀💪

I am glad to know you found the cause of your symptoms. Until it is understood , the root of the problem found, then it can be remedied quicker rather than by trial and error (and the suffering that goes along with it). Just like quitting smoking. You have to know you. You knew your body well enough to know there was something wrong. Once we understand why we began to smoke, we can start to resent how it came to control us. Understanding gives us power. We now have the knowledge to remedy the problem. I hope you will feel better post-haste!

I’m feeling a lot better today Thankyou happiness, the reasons I started smoking when I was younger was because all my friends did and then I thought it was a cool
thing to do I guess,I don’t resent how it controlled me over the years,as I see it,we are in control of ourselves, and anything or anyone we let in our lives is of our own doing,I put it down to a young man thinking it was clever to smoke, but now I’ve chose not to smoke anymore,I’ve stopped and will never smoke again ever.
