Easy running

Hi Everyone,I’m really chuffed today, when I quit smoking I started running,I’m upto 5k now, when I first started I needed to stop to walk a bit because I was gasping for breath, today after nearly 2 months of stopping smoking I ran a full 5 k without stopping,I’m chuffed, feeling so so good. Just thought I’d share that with you all.thanks for reading. 😀

I love reading good news stories New chapter, we all need goals to achieve and you are achieving yours. Well done keep on doing what you are doing and my goodness how your body will love you. Keep in mind you can reward yourself in many ways.

It is amazing how our breathing gets so much better and how we benefit in so many ways. Why were we so afraid to quit? Afraid we couldn't that's why. We are proof it can be done. Congratulations

That is awesome new chapter congrats to you ❤️ your positivity is contagious 😊

Thankyou for your lovely messages,it’s good to have a goal to focus on it distracts the mind😊my hobbies work well with each other,I run and loose a few pound, then I like cooking so I eat my cooking experiments and put a few pounds back on again lol so the result is my weight stays the same😂.How are you Getting on Jess, have you restructured your quitting plan?❤️

Hi new chapter 🙋I'm doing really well I ended up calling the Quitline and had a little chat with them and they got someone to call me back which was very helpful they have scheduled another call with me for next week. I also implemented lots of the suggestions from all you folks in the I can quit community. You all keep me continuing being a non smoker. I really don't think I couldn't of done it without you all. I am determined and am so grateful that I didn't allow my self to turn back into a non smoker. My last puff was three days ago. I am never having another. Whenever I have slipped up in the past I have not been able to stop smoking again this time is different I am a non smoker now and I will have another puff ❤️💃

Oops meant to say so grateful I didn't allow myself to turn back into a smoker 😊🧚

That’s Fantastic Jess, your desire to stop is there for us all to see, slipping up when we do anything in life isn’t a game changer, the real game changer is the lessons we learn from a slip up and bounce back even stronger, and that’s what you’ve done, your doing so so well, and it’s good you rang Quitline too, another angle to keep you strong,I’m proud of you keep it going, you’ve got this Girl x😀
