Anyway i'm still hanging there at 1 year 10 month, saved 16 thousands odd dollars and regain 2 month of my life. I said it before and i say it again if i can do it you can do it too. See youse all in a couple of month for the 2 years anniversary and remember: the journey of a thousand miles starts with one step

Hi Chef. Yes , the biggest step is to muster up the courage to start this journey. Fear can stop us dead in our tracks, but we can overcome it when we see others like you succeeding. Congratulations!

We can learn about the nicotine addiction and learn how to use "tools" to get us through some rough spots. In the end, it is well worth the effort. Life is so precious. Now I walk everyday to keep in better shape. Once adjustments are made, they become the norm. I even enjoy walking now and starting to walk longer and more often while healing from a stroke. It's too bad I needed a wake up call, but I no longer take my health for granted.
