Help

Hey beautiful people,
Thanks for this great community I'm now 4 weeks without smoking, after smoking for 9 years !Thank you. However, I still struggle with anxiety and withdraw symptoms, I always feel tired, stress and sick. I can't really enjoy my days, I always feel there is something wrong or I got infected with COVID, but then it get better after a while. I'm honstly tired of this! Any tips? Thanks

It is great to know our community is of help. Putting smoking in the past where it belongs goes a long way in enjoying our new future sooner. You do not think of an old job, or a house you just left. You get busy adjusting to the new. Think of the positives rather than mourning what you may still think you lost. Believe us when we tell you that you lost nothing of value, you rediscovered the real you and have more power than you think!

First let me say congratulations on 4 weeks....Keep up the good work... it really is time for you to bring yourself the love and acceptance that you need, your life does not need to be riddled with anxiety or stress, practice your newfound freedom from smoking with any positive strategies that you have discovered, this is your true self and it will stay with you always. NOPE (not one puff ever) Roll on week 5.

Your feelings of anxiety and illness I can relate to. They will get better in time. Nicotine was a huge part of your life, and to be rid of it for good you need to replace it with something. For me vigorous exercise has filled the void. When I feel bad, I go for a run. Finding a new addiction is my advice.

Hey man . I understand your pain right now. What your dealing with is what I’m dealing with to. My anxiety and panic attacks is rough but you have to look at the positive side and yes I feel
Sometimes i got infected to but I’m not you just have to relax maybe listen to music and say away from the media . Good luck!
