schedule 2 May 2020

Well done on getting to 37 days without. That is remarkable. It is a pretty high stress time to be doing this so good on you. I can tell you that the stress of withdrawing will make corona virus look like a breeze. The withdrawal phase produces an anxiety state. This is the state that encourages you to reach for a cigarette. You haven't so it ups the ante. Does that make sense? It is early days so start to divert your attention away from the craving. You will need this skill long term. The cravings /anxiety will reduce in longevity and intensity eventually.Have a plan to beat it!!

schedule 2 May 2020

It really is as easy as you make it. Make up your mind and don't let the voices in your head bicker. The decision is made, and you are winning. The anxiety is also in your head. There are foods that help with depression. You can protect yourself from the virus. You are not at the mercy of care workers. You can still take control of your life. Learn how to meditate, and find ways to relieve the stress. Exercise, build the immune system. Think positive about this wonderful journey to freedom from the clutches of nicotine and the tobacco companies.

Your cough may be a natural process of quitting smoking. Your lungs tend to get stronger and try to expell years of gunk. Take it as a good sign, but of course seek medical advice if unduly concerned.

schedule 3 May 2020

Sometimes its not easy. Diamonds one day and stones the next.

People who have never been addicted to smokes have said that too.
