Welcome doug b and congratulations on one month without smoking, we all experience this feeling during our quit, be it from withdrawal or from the thought of not smoking. Each one of us is different, so you will need to list what is making you anxious, in order for you to move forward. In other words once you name something you can deal with it.

I would suggest your anxiety comes from having to deal with certain situations which is causing you some angst, but that is only a thought process until it removes itself or you can remove it by thinking a different way.

We cannot control everything, but we can learn how to control our thoughts towards a certain thing. Once you know what that is then you have something to work on, and something to look forward to, you might consider enjoying the challenge this brings. Stay close and keep us informed of your progress. Well done

Hello Doug, read, download Alan Carr's Audible book on escaping from the nicotine trauma. You might realise through the teachings of this book that there is nothing to be anxious about, only pleasure that you have escaped the trap and have so much to look forward to. It's all a.minddet that we can all control.

Hi Doug, congrats on one month milestone. I bet you didn't think you'd make it but we know otherwise. Anxiety at this time is not uncommon and on top of the day to day turmoil at this time. I was just reading how the smell of lavender essential oil works almost or equal to medications in cases of anxiety or depression. Worth a try. It is also good for sleep as I recall.

p.s. Eucalyptus oil in a diffuser is good for the respiratory.

Great to see you back Wee William

Also great to see so many new members. I hope everyone is safe and coping with this pandemic well. Quitting smoking has made you better prepared. Why not boost your immune systems with whole foods and the antioxidants in them for even more protection? Give thanks to your bodies, and thanks for that which you do have. Happy Easter all.
