Hi all. I’m on day 10 of quit. I am using nrt patches. I’m doing ok apart from being really tired - anyone else experienced that? Any suggestions would be great.

yes indeed as long as you can avoid smokers you should be right - i knew i could do it after a week out clean - from now on its all in your mind set - get plenty of rest and sleep - relax online - now you've given up you've got $140 a week discretionary spending - buy that nice shirt/blouse, pants, cds, books and other luxury goods you never could afford before ....!

Hi Robin. Thank you for your advice, really appreciated. I have more energy today and slept well last night. Am so grateful I found this site. Sometimes it gets a tad freaky when living alone, the mind wanders. Zen my cat is a good example of sleep and bliss. I am in awe of my clean mouth and teeth. One day at a time..... 🙏🏻

Hi Oliver. Yes, you’re right. I bought heaps of healthy food yesterday. I can taste now as well! I am welcoming sleep and going with it. All those years of being so hyper and nor sleeping properly. I am getting stronger every day, as we all are here …what a supportive positive online community. 🙏🏻 Oliver and have an awesome day.

Hi Zen, Well done on 10 days quit, I'm only on 66 days but can tell you the first few weeks are the worst. I noticed the tiredness but put it down to my work, which is outside, physical work. Maybe you're right, it was also part of quitting. Anyway look at the bright side, the longer you sleep the less you crave a ciggie. Good luck, it does get easier.

Hi tigerjim. Thank you. Only 66 days! That’s fantastic, congratulations. Yesterday was a good day for me. Today it’s back to a good book, water, good food and the couch. So grateful I have the opportunity to do that as I have retired. Onward and upward. Keep laughing and have a good day.
