Vaping saves lives

schedule 10 Dec 2019

I started smoking at 13 years of age. At 43 i was diagnosed with COPD. Id tried many times to quit. Even watching ky father die of cancer couldnt get me off the smokes. Using the recommended NRTs (champix) made me loony and looked in a mental hospital.

Then i started vaping nicotine. Currently 13 months smoke free. My SpO2 readings are now in the normal range. I havent had a chest infection since i quit smokes, havent needed ventolin.

If only the Aussie Government and Cancer council supported people to quit smokes with a reliable and safe method. They could learn a lot from the UKs way of promoting vaping as the best method of quitting smoking.

Hi MelVapes. So what made you decide to join us tonight, of all nights with your story. Is our site national news tonight? Did we make headlines?

You are the fifth one within an hour to tout vaping and trash other aids available. Why have you not given a "great job" or "Well done" or any accolade or piece of

advice for a couple of our member who could really use some support right now. They are ecstatic about learning our way of doing things and learning how to change their way to thinking so that they can leave ALL BAD HABITS and replace them with new ones. Adopting this mindset is challenging enough for some without outside interference and deliberate sabotage in my opinion.

If I am wrong I apologize.

btw champix is not an NRT./ as it contains no nicotine.

Perhaps you could explain how you even came to take an interest in this site at this time.

Perhaps it would be a good thing to make headlines. Let the newspapers get to the bottom of this kind of sabotage.

We have not trashed any methods Happiness just told our story.

ALL methods are good so long as people stop smoking...Don't you agree...This site does!!!!!

YOU have actually trashed our method yet suggest it on your site.

Hypocrisy I think they call it.

We have every right to tell our story....

Well done Mel, looks like the post about quitting smoking stories is going viral on Facebook vape groups. Looks like we have attracted some nasty anti quit smoking via vaping people. Don't worry about them, you are doing the right thing by not smoking however that works for you. And adding years to your life in the meantime. Congratulations. And remember you are quitting for the rest of your life. As for you "happiness" pull it back a notch, we are here to help people quit smoking. Not attack people for their method doing so.
