My story

30 years of smoking habit. Couple of times tried to stop thru cold turkey, but relapsed. Now on 129 days smoke free. Hope this time, I will be successful.

Hi SBN. Am wondering what SBN stands for unless it is initials. Curious. Now, after 129 days, why might you want to ever go back to day 1??? Take one day at a time. Some numbers you will really like, others less so, but each new number gets you closer to a new milestone that means something to you. When that happens, make a noise and put a post on this site. Look forward to seeing you in print down the track.

Way to go SBN. You are doing great so don't even think about throwing it all away. Right now you are still going through the psychological aspect of this journey and winning. Every craving you ignore puts you deeper in the drivers seat. You have the control already to take your life in the direction that you choose.
I did want to ask about the Vic's inhaler, when i googled it, it is for nasal congestion. Please clarify and tell us how you did finally manage to quit. Your story may be of help to others. Thank you for posting and keep up the great strides to being a happy non-smoker!

Hi dear. As I told you before i tried couples of times to stop thru cold turkey, but could not succeeded. So I know where I stuck. I noticed that I have physicological addiction more than the nicotine addiction. Nicotine addiction last for 3 days only, that one has to use the will power to kill it. afterwards whenever craving comes take heavy breath and meditate for a minutes, it will fade off. I used vicks inhaler ( Iinhaled thu mouth)as cigarrette for one week. After a week I stopped vicks inhaling thu mouth, but inhaled thru nose. Don't roam around with friends. No dating. No alcohol. ha ha. 2day 130 days smoke free.
