Phlegm

I’m very new to this forum, my name is evea and I have quit to better my health! I was just wondering if hacking up darker colored phlegm is normal? And how long till it subsides..?

Welcome Evea Tacia, I am glad that you have decided to stop smoking to improve your health, a cigarette does nothing to benefit you in this goal. I personally have not had any Phemb problems but others may have. It could be your body clearing out toxins in the early days. Regardless we are not qualified to give you this advice it would be better if you went to your GP to help you with this just to make sure it's not something else you need to have looked at.
Keep up the good work

Hello and welcome. I don't know where i heard the information that loosening and expelling phlegm is natural , but somewhere, because i was expecting to and didn't and became concerned. Everyone is different. If it persist and is of concern then a medical opinion should be sought.
Congrats on your quit, and i hope you will stay connected with us and support others while strengthening your own journey.
