Body aches and pains
I know we are all different, Today is Day 2 of smoke free. It is also the 2nd morning in a row I have woken up feeling tired and body aches and pains. I am not sure if I should put this down as withdrawal symptoms or another medical condition I have that has this type of symptoms. Thank you in advance

Hi IcanQuitthistime. The last time you quit , you used a pre-quit patch and had symptoms as well. Are you on the same this time around or going cold -turkey? Have you felt like this at any time again in the past two years, or is it related. Can it just be a coincidence? Only you know you, and if that concerned see your doctor and run blood tests. Try taking vitamins or perhaps sources of iron. Your last post indicated that you did not work, and perhaps you are bored, depressed or just at loose ends after giving up cigarettes. Maybe planning something to look forward to later in the day, each day will help energize you. Do things you like to do, eat what you enjoy, put on happy, lively music. Get dressed, look good, feel good or do something nice for someone else . Pleasure give happy which gives dopamine.....it's a win, win.
Keep busy, you can win this! Keep reading and learn. Stay positive and believe that it is all worth while. No one has yet said they regretted being free and healthier.
Hello Happiness I am using patches again. I am now day 4 smoke free and about $80 better off. And yes using patches again. But a different brand that I don't like as much. One they don't seem to stick to my skin as well as the other brand did and cravings seem to come more frequent but they do not last longer. I am starting to recover today from the body aches and pains I am pretty sure is a side effects of quitting medications. Years ago when I was on Zyban I was admitted to hospital Drs said they think I was allergy to the medication I am not going to let a few horrible days get in my way of quitting I am sure once I get over the first week or so Ill be fine. Thank you kindly for your good advice.
