Staying stubborn
Well just over a month now since my last smoke. I must say I do miss it but have no intentions of going back. I have literally so much time on my hands. It’s amazing how much time nicotine takes from you. I love having saved so much already not to mention breathing better. I do get a little bored though. The last couple of days I’ve craved more than i would like but still holding strong. Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Way to go Catherine anne. It sounds like you need to pick up an old hobby or interest or learn something new. Being creative with your hands would be an excellent venue to distract your mind and keep those fingers busy. Knitting, sewing, woodworking, macrame, painting, jewelry making or picking up an instrument would be ideal. Dancing, learning zumba or line dancing on line , cooking gourmet meals for yourself with your saved dollars could also be of interest. Learning helps to raise our dopamine which makes us happy.
Congrats on a month done and a future of freedom.

Staying Stubborn I think its called determination too Catherine, keep on staying free from the sneaky monster. Boredom is something I have had in my life in the past, I didn't think I had any more to learn, but believe me the learning process is a wonderful reward in itself, you can climb as high as you want and then start on something new, its up to you. You deserve to invest in yourself, who knows where it might lead. Congratulations on "Just over a month"

Nice work Catherine Anne!!
You don't have any nicotine left in you so the cravings you are feeling are all mental.
Sounds like now your challenge is to change your mindset. When you don't miss it, but instead thank yourself that you are now a non smoker every time you are reminded of cigarettes.
Once you can do this (and it everyone's path is different) everything changes and it becomes easy again, the same way if you never smoked!
